This website (http://www.aspiringdocs.org/) has a ton of information on it, I highly recommend it, especially since it's the official information website for premeds from AAMC.

To get an idea of what your chances might be of getting into medical schools in a particular state (or the entire US), here are two free tools:

1. Med school application information evaluation(http://www.studentdoc.com/application-evaluation.html): This tool  looks at a lot of variables that go into your med school application, including MCAT scores, cumulative GPA, science GPA, type of university where you got your degree, disciplinary actions, etc., and ranks your chances at schools in different states. It also makes recommendations when there is a "flag" on your application.

The tool is free, and no longer requires registration.

2. Medical School Finder - are your MCAT scores competitive? (http://www.studentdoc.com/medfind.html) : This is also a free tool that ranks your chances according to MCAT scores and cumulative GPA. While less thorough that the med school application evaluation, med school data are as up-to-date as possible.

Both tools are free and can be used anonymously.

Best of Luck,
