Water Flouridation...Needed? or Disaster?
« on: October 05, 2007, 02:11:18 PM »
Many people are beginning to question whether water fluoridation is useful to human health or is it the opposite...At the very least shouldnt people be given the chance to choose whether they want it or not?? Isnt that taking away their personal choice and freedom? I also find it amazing that people who are in favour of water fluoridation tend to be directly related to that process. Recent "INDEPENDANT" research into this field by scientists not involved in the dental trade organisation has shown the harms of water fluoridation..

The link can be found here:

What do somali people here think about this issue?

Thanks.

No it's a disaster which should be stopped!!
The water fluoridation is harmful to human health, and some of those who was supporting this idea turned against it.
I came across an article which was written by one of the most ardent supporters of this idea and he simply changed his mind when he realized the danger of water of fluoridation.
Thanks for those independent researchers who were able to raise their voices loudly even though they were opposed harshly.
Here is the article of John Colquhoun
Some of you may say water fluoridation prevents tooth decay, as it's in most of toothpasts available in market today.
the answer is also found in the same link.

cadey ku cadeyso because it's better and doesn't need toothpaste ;D

It is extremely harmful as can be seen from the pictures in Dr. Mahdi's link. It is also our duty as dcotors and especially dentists to pass this message on the community to counter its effect.
