New Case with "Foreign Accent syndrome"

Imagine going in for dental surgery with an Oregon accent, and coming out with a mixture of Northern British, Scottish, Irish and a hint of Eastern European. This is what happened to Karen Butler, 56. She woke up from anesthesia sounding like somebody from the British Isles.

After undergoing several tests, experts say she has "foreign accent syndrome", an extremely uncommon neurological disorder - only 60 cases have been identified since 1941.

well, thanks, till now there is no evidence proves this syndrome and sometimes i say this is might be ridiculous to believe but some studies suggest as i read the speaker doesn't suddenly gain aforeign language but they pronouce their native language with an accent that to listeners may be mistaken as foreign how? GOD knows. this is remains under study, although i don't have much background on this neurological disorder once i remember when i asked my prof. of physiology on this case he wasn't clear too.if an injury or stroke to the Broca's Area which controls the movement of the speech muscles would the result be like this syndrome or not???
what if wernick's area an area concerned to understand what we speak ?

this is not  absolutely easy to imagine but we need to prove?
