JOB VACANCY: CLINICAL OFFICER

MSF-CH is seeking candidates for the post of: CLINICAL OFFICER Location: Dinsor Project

Scope of responsibilities:

· To ensure and organise medical activities for patients and/or a population in accordance to the context and to MSF Clinical guidelines and protocols .
· To supervise the admission and discharge of patients, prescription of medications and other routine procedures.
· To ensure correct assessment, diagnosis and admission (or discharge) of patients in the ward.
· To participate in trainings given to Nurses and other staff organised in the hospital.
· To supervise the care and hygiene activities of the medical staff in the respective wards

Recruitment criteria:

· Clinical Officer Diploma or qualified nurse diploma with a minimum of 5 year in a supervisor position.
· Minimum of 3 years experience in an MSF facility or in any other organization with a medical background.
· Experience as a consultant is an asset.
· Excellent knowledge of Somali and English: written and spoken.
· Experience in Reproductive health and neonatology is highly preferred.
