Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. Malignant tumors (including breast cancer) are less common than benign tumors, but it is the leading cancer pathology in women older than 40 years. Breast cancer - a malignant tumor of glandular breast tissue. The disease ranks first among all cancers in women (about 25% of all cancers) and has a pronounced upward trend. Breast cancer develops on the background of precancerous diseases, which include mastitis and fibroadenoma. Initial symptoms of breast cancer is really very minor, almost not disturbed woman, and forget about them easily. But time passes and these symptoms increase, are new, more pronounced changes, which significantly disturb the patient. Observed deformation of the breast, skin discoloration, swelling, and soon there are metastases to nearby lymph nodes. Growing and increasing in size, the tumor penetrates into the surrounding tissues: skin, tissue, ribs, there are strong pain. Woman forced to go to the doctor, but treatment at this point is often ineffective. Many opportunities forever lost, to be a difficult treatment and its results uncertain.

Breast Cancer Treatment.
Treatment of breast cancer at an early stage can be very successful. Patients who are living after treatment for 5 years is approximately 100%. This early stage of the disease - not always in fact cancer. Instead, it's often - precancerous condition of the disease. Treatment is not always necessary, sometimes quite regular monitoring. Treatment varies depending on the type of cancer. In the early stages of abnormal cells are formed in the ducts of the breast, and sometimes become cancerous. That is why it is important to seek treatment during this period.

List of recommended treatment:

1. Surgical treatment. For small tumors, lumpectomy can be performed, in which abnormal cells are removed and only part of the fabric. Some women choose mastectomy, in which the entire breast is removed and, in consequence, the plastic of the breast.

2. Radiation therapy - the standard treatment after lumpectomy. Radiation therapy destroys any abnormal cells that may have been skipped and reduces the risk of other cancers.

3. Hormone therapy with Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) after surgery also prevents the development of breast cancer.
