Salaam, dhamaantiin I have a question about "inflammation" My sister she’s 30yrs old and been complaining pain all over for about 3yrs and it’s getting worst she went to see her physician 2yrs ago and they did all kind of blood test they told her it came back slightly positive for Autoimmune & suspected Lupus so she went to see rheumatologist and they did more testing and told her she had no Lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. She changed doctors so she can get second opinion and been taking anti-inflammatory drug NAPROXEN 500 ml once a day. Her new Doctor also did the panel test for rheumatoid arthritis again & the result came back elevated level of inflammation so my question is how do you treat inflammation and what causes one to have elevated level Af-soomaalina maxaa lagu dhahaa this issue

Inflammation is not a disease it's a pathological process and a physical response to injury or infection, in which the area affected is painful, swollen, warm to the touch, reddened, and sometimes, nonfunctional.
There are hundreds of disorders/disease that cause inflammation and there are differentiated by the tests that you have done.
Because there are different cells in the body and each cell when injured or inflamed it release certain substances which appear on the blood and shows that there inflammation happening in that particular organ.
For example if your muscles are inflamed or injured the enzymes found primarily on the muscles will increase and that shows: Inflmmation.
Also the inflammation can be local affecting one part of the body and can be systemic.
To understand the type of inflammation your sister has we need to know which blood tests she has done and showed that level of the inflammation is elevated?

it's really frustrating for her that she feels something is really worng and she's in pain all the time.

Tell your sister not to worry because the ESR "Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate" is a common hematology test that is a non-specific measure of inflammation.
To perform the test, anticoagulated blood is placed in a tube, and the rate at which the red blood cells fall is measured and reported in mm/h.
The ESR is increased by any cause or focus of inflammation. The ESR is increased in any acute or chronic infections, inflammations like rheumatoid arthritis and vasculitis or even in pregnancy. The basal ESR is slightly higher in females.
Normal values of ESR are:
Men up to 19mm/h
Women up to 23mm/h
