MSF-CH is seeking candidates to be part of its:
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM
To support its humanitarian operations in Somalia
MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a humanitarian medical organization providing emergency medical aid to populations in need. At present, MSFCH operates in three project locations in Somalia: Belet Weyne, Dinsor and Mogadishu.
Location: Mogadishu & other potential areas (South Central Somalia) based on needs.
Start date: Open
Type of contract: Fixed term contracts with possibility of extension based on the situation.
The positions:
MSF Swiss is looking for the following qualified and experienced personnel:
Surgeon
Nurse – OT
Nurse Anaesthesist
Nurse – Sterilisation
Nurse with Surgical skill/experience
Scope of responsibilities:
Responding to emergency needs in the area, with flexibility to move at short notice when required.
This team will be part of the dynamic HR for the organization with relevant experience and skill in their different capacity.
Recruitment criteria:
Recognized diploma/degree.
2 years medical experience.
Experience in a busy hospital (specifically ER) is desired.
A minimum 1 year-experience with MSF (or 2 years experience in similar function outside MSF).
Leadership and management abilities.
Good organization skills.
Personal qualities:
Diplomacy and confidentiality.
Respect of medical ethics.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility and accountability.
Dynamic and flexible.
Ability to work in a multicultural
environment.
