Title: Post-graduate options
Post by: JohnRich on July 27, 2010, 02:34:37 AM
Hi everyone! I'm really glad to have found this forum, and I hope you can help me.

After finishing high-school this past year, I am now going to my first year of med school, in Portugal. I would really like to study in the UK or the US, but for several reasons I needed to stay in my country for a couple more years, hence I did not apply to any college abroad. I understand for what I was told that it is not possible to transfer to colleges abroad during the course (first 6 years), but is it possible for me to do my speciality in the US or the UK, and, if so, what kind of requirements do I need and when should I apply?

Thank you.

The requirements are depends on the country and specifically the school. I never tried to study in the UK or US so I suggest to you that you visit their website or contact the specific school for more information. Regarding with transferring, you can't transfer to other school with respect to the six year course regulation.
