The mission of Somali medical laboratory Association (SOMLA) is to provide an educational guideline with the Somali students who are interested in making their career in medical laboratory field. Somali Medical Laboratory Association is also intended to give advices to newly graduated students who are looking for Medical laboratory jobs. The Somla will focus on uniting Somali Medical Laboratory professionals so that they can have an opportunity to share information, discuss and raise health issues in the Somali Communities. Some of Somla’s primary goals are: To seek new and innovative ways to collect data about Somali medical laboratory professionals to find out where these professionals need to improve skills since the laboratory environment is constantly evolving fast. To encourage Somali Medical laboratory personnel to be competitive in their field by furthering their knowledge through continuous education. To provide an advice to newly graduated students who are looking for Medical Laboratory Jobs by giving them all necessary resources and tips that can increase their chances to be hired. To have them access to broad spectrum of knowledge toward Medical Laboratory tests to all its members bymeans of Articles, Journals ,and lectures.
