In order to reinforce our national team, we are looking for our emergency project in Kenya, several national staff position :

Child Protection Project Manager NATIONAL STAFF POSITIONS

Reporting to: Child Protection Programme Manager Duty station: Alinjugur, Garissa County Contract duration: 12 months (with 3-month probation period)

Main responsibilities: - To be responsible, under the supervision of the Child Protection Programme Manager, for all aspects of the implementation of the Child Protection project in (a) Dadaab refugee complex and (b) rural divisions of Lagdera and Fafi. - To manage, mentor and train a team of social workers and community workers. - To coordinate with the Project Psychologist to ensure regular assessment of project needs and adequate follow up of extremely vulnerable cases. - To develop collaboration with the local authorities such as the District Children Officer, other partners and services in order to establish a proper child protection referral system. - To contribute to the capacity building of one or two local partners.

Requirements: - Minimum diploma-level education in related field. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in projects supporting children (social work, child protection, psychosocial, education, etc.) - Team management experience (30-40 subordinates). - Project reporting and evaluation experience. - Fluency in English, Kiswahili and local dialect. - Willingness to live at village level in main project sites.
