Will heparin affect the PTT?

sure, pt and ptt should be requested for base line data but also the test should be done everyday to monitor the ENR and adjust the dose.
there is also coagulation book for pts who take warfarin or heparin.

PS: PTT is not useful in monitoring anticoagulant therapy using low-molecular weight heparin.
