Post by: Admin on December 16, 2010, 08:42:58 PM
Dr. Mohamed Yusuf, the general director of Medina hospital who held a press conference in the hospital yesterday said that the hospital received 5,863 cases of gunshot wounds this year.

Dr yusuf also said that the war wound victims are much less than the previouse year which was 7,300 GSW cases & he emphasized that there are no agencies they get help except ICRC that only supports the hospital adding that hospital staffs are doing their best caring patients.

Madina-hospital is one of the major medical centers that receive the largest war victims in Mogadishu and many patients are lying now whose conditions are very bad, but medical personnel of Madina-Hosptial are giving health services.
