Indicate the correct statement:

A) As the head fold develops, the septum transversum, developing heart and buccopharyngeal membrane are pushed caudally and ventrally. this impinges upon the yolk sac and forms the foregut.
B) Mesoderm forms most of the glands of the GIT

The correct statement is option B. The mesoderm forms most of the glands of the GIT.
