Before months, I remember there was a thread here talking about HIV vaccine.

But today, the promising investigational HIV vaccine Phase II clinical trial has been stopped after it was determined by a panel to be ineffective.
The vaccine, which had been ten years in the making, did not prevent volunteers who were at high risk for acquiring HIV infection, from becoming infected.

Researchers says: AIDS vaccine seemed to increase the risk.
In a puzzling and potentially troubling development, an AIDS vaccine tested in a closely watched trial might have increased the risk among vaccine recipients of becoming infected with H.I.V., researchers reported yesterday at a scientific meeting in Seattle.
