Tubal ligation is not really permanent in the sense that it can be reversed in almost all cases. This is fortunate for those women who want another chance to have a baby after having their tubes tied. Tubal reversal is more successful, less complicated, and less expensive than the alternative treatment of in vitro fertilization.

How ever, i some what disagree with the statement saying tubal ligation is reversible over 95% cases:o as in the link u'v attached.
Although pregnancy rates after a tubal reversal are significantly better than trying to conceive thru IVF, having the procedure done doesnt guarentee that they will become pregnant.

Although they have a page in their site for pregnancy reports after reversal of tubal ligation, but I doubt about the success rate....
