Osteoporosis is a bone disease, leading to an increased risk of fracture.Its a major consequence of an increased risk of fractures. Osteoporotic fracture is in the case of healthy people generally do not break bones, they are therefore regarded as fragility fractures.

Osteoporosis is nothing but a disease of bones that leads to an increased risk of fracture. Osteoporosis literally means porous bones. In osteoporosis the bone mineral density is reduced, bone microarchitecture is deteriorating, and the amount and variety of proteins in bone is altered.
