Location: Kenya - For Somalia operations. Field visits to Somalia projects will be expected.

General information about the position:
This is a new position in the mission. It requires an innovative approach to work based on the Remote Management model for Somalia programs.
Flexibility is required for the position, with possible evolution of responsibilities & tasks foreseen, hence the incumbent should be able to take on more responsibilities if/when required.
The position will be evaluated after 1 year for further possibility of growth within the training department.

Main responsibilities:
(Working with the Training Coordinator)
- To support & assist on implementation and further devel-opment of the training objectives, policy and planning of Somalia mission.
- To ensure the implementation of the Somalia training plan and policy for the mission including field support, ToT and training preparation and evaluation/follow-up is done.
- To facilitate and assist in practical planning/arrangements of trainings organised

Experience : ToT and medical field experience preferably in Somalia/remote context.

Qualifications: Medical or paramedical training/qualifications with ideally some experience & qualifications in training.

IT skills: Knowledge of MS-Word (Office) & ideally of SPSS.

Language: Should be Fluent in English. Somali language will be an advantage.
