Asha is 37 years old, mother of 5 children complaining of dysphagia and weight-loss
This is the image taken after barium meal.

Questions:
1- What do you see in the X-ray?
2- What is your diagnosis?
3- What do you call this appearance?
4- How to treat it?

Barium swallow reveals an irregular stricture in the mid esophagus,it most propably annular irregular squamus cell carcinoma of the esophagus,this lesion called apple-core lesion,the treatment it depends upon the general condtion of the pt,the staging of the tumur but usually the treatment is surgical
