There are some people who say that Muslims can't be depressed and if they are it is a weakness in faith....
But what I am sure about and mentioned in this topic is:

In general, The preponderance of depression amongst females has been a consistent finding, whether in children, adolescents, undergraduates, adults, the aged, depression disorder patients, or in community surveys.

But there is inadequate research data on the prevalency of depression among somali's living abroad. considerable risk factors might be the language of the country where they live, social integrity, employment and immigration policy.

Pharmacist:
Generally, Somali people don't believe in depression, even when they are depressed, they call it "CAAJIS"
