Title: Precordial pain of pericarditis

Why precordial pain of pericarditis increase on coughing and lying flate while decrease on sitting and leaning forward? ??? ???

its all because of strech of the heart and its pericardium from blood,more strech mean greater pain.in lying position venous return increase  which increase streach and so the pain.

iT IS corect all about straching of heart which is more difficult blood flow, squeezing heart,and expending lungs makes heart squeeze and muscles not stract so pt have difficult breathing....so PLB will happen...RRT
