Tobacco is unique among legal consumer products and not in a positive sense. It is the only such products that kills when used exactly as intended by the manufacturer. Up to one half of all smokers will die from a tobacco-related disease and half of these will die prematurely.
Tobacco use and smoking are very dangerous addictions which commonly cause a wide variety of diseases, cancer and death. the vast majority of tobacco users and smokers are hooked when they are children. During this time period, they are easily influenced by peer pressure and advertising. Once hooked, the majority of tobacco users become hopelessly addicted.

World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on May 31. It is meant to encourage a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco consumption across the globe. The day is further intended to draw global attention to the widespread prevalence of tobacco use and to negative health effects, which currently lead to deaths worldwide annually. The member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) created World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) in 1987. In the past twenty years, the day has been met with both enthusiasm and resistance across the globe from governments, public health organizations, smokers, growers, and the tobacco industry.

Public Health campaign is one of important project for pharmacy students, as well as World No Tobaco Day campaign. It’s not difficult to make the campaign, we don’t have to make a big campaign, but what we should do is just to make the useful campaign. Because from the campaign, we can encourage people to stop smoke at least one day and it will bring them to stop smoking regularly. free culture for the health of present and future generations. Make the world free from tobacco.
