Programme Coordinator – Somaliland

12 month full-time contract UK-based, with regular overseas travel Approx £25,000 p.a. depending on experience

THET is an international development organisation working to improve the health of people in Africa and Asia. Focussing on strengthening healthcare services, we harness the skills of UK health professionals to improve the skills of health workers in some of the poorest countries in the world.

We are recruiting a Programme Coordinator to join a growing, multi-country team and support the delivery of a major health systems strengthening programme in Somaliland.

The successful applicant will have at least 4 years relevant experience, including managing projects, budgets, stakeholder relationships and experience of preparing funding proposals and reports for institutional donors. S/he will have the ability to travel overseas up to 6 times a year; have good interpersonal skills and the ability to respond flexibly in the context of working within a small organisation.
