Training of Trainers on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV)

Reference Number: SGBV/BER/03/2012

Health Poverty Action (HPA), formerly Health Unlimited (HU), through its Somaliland DFID funded Pilot Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS) project in Sahil and the two EC funded projects namely the “Expanding Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) / returnees in Maroodi Jeex” and the “Supporting Communities to Access their SRH Rights in Sahil”, is planning to train trainers on Sexual and Gender Based Violence and Community Conversation techniques. Trainees will be drawn form the Ministry of Health, local partners and other relevant sector offices. To this end, HPA therefore seeks to engage the services of a consultant and or consultants to develop a a Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) Training Manual and protocols.

HPA now invites eligible consultants with proven track record and performance of similar assignments to indicate their interest in providing the service. The interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to carry out these assignments.
How to apply:
Interested bidders must download the Terms of Reference (TOR’s) from the following website: www.healthunlimited.or.ke . They are expected to timely submit their CVs and training proposal that will provide details of the consultant understanding of the terms of reference. In particular, the proposal will provide details of methodology to be applied, financial quotation and time frame for each document.
