MSF France Clinical Officer in Mathare / Eastleigh Kenya

The international humanitarian organization Medecins sans Frontieres / Doctors without Borders is seeking for its Mathare / Eastleigh programme:

Experienced Clinical Officer for HIV and TB Clinic

The successful candidate will perform HIV and TB consultations at the Blue House Clinic in Mathare / Eastleigh.

Requirements:
Must be registered with the clinical officer’s council and have a valid practising license
At least 2 years experience as a clinical officer
Experience prescribing ARVs and TB treatment
Ability to analyse relevant laboratory results and to prescribe treatment accordingly
Experience in providing acute care e.g. trauma, coma, respiratory distress etc
Training in the clinical management of HIV and/or TB would be an advantage
Experienced Social Worker Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the social work activities in MSF France HIV/TB and Sexual Gender Based Violence clinics.

Requirements:
Diploma in social work
At least 5 years experience as a social worker with at least 2 years supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to undertake thorough social assessments of patients’ needs
Experience in cash management and accurate documentation is a must
Proven ability to monitor and analyse activities
Proven experience on how to source external social support for patients
Good knowledge of Mathare, Eastleigh and the Eastlands areas
Good written and spoken English and Kiswahili
